Luftwaffe Panavia Tornado IDS

Tactical Air Force Wing 33 in Büchel, in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, is one of two remaining active squadrons of the German Air Force equipped with the Tornado fighter-bomber. In addition to the special weapons order within the framework of the so-called "nuclear sharing" within NATO, the unit is also equipped with the conventional cruise missile Taurus. The German-Swedish stand-off weapon has a range of over 500 kilometers and is suitable for reaching and destroying hardened and buried targets.
