Vologda Air Company Yakovlev Yak-40

The airline is named after the region where it is headquartered: Vologda Oblast, about 400 km north of Moscow. In addition to numerous Mil Mi-8 helicopters and AN-2 biplanes, which are mostly kept on standby for charter work or rescue missions, it currently operates four Yak-40s, which are used for scheduled service on routes from the city of Vologda to Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Veliky Ustyug, also in Vologda Oblast.
