Lufthansa Airbus A380-800

The response to the debut of the extraordinary anniversary design on the sleek Boeing 787 shortly before Christmas 2025 was already overwhelming. By applying the special livery onto the super jumbo bearing the registration D-AIMH, the established Lufthansa crane has now taken on truly XXL proportions. This A380 received its special dark blue livery featuring a 47-meter-tall crane in Shannon, Ireland. Over the course of approximately 34 days, 35 employees painted the super jumbo’s exterior, which spans more than 4,000 square meters.
