Swiss International Air Lines Airbus A320

With the repainting of this A320, the Swiss flag carrier is introducing minor changes to its livery. The SWISS wordmark on the fuselage has been slightly enlarged and a reference to the airline's affiliation with the Lufthansa Group has been added to the rear of the fuselage. HB-IJR is named after the town of Avenches. Located in French-speaking western Switzerland, the city was founded by the Romans as Aventicum around 15 BC. Ruins from this period and later centuries still bear witness to its long history as a commercial center.
