TAP Air Portugal Airbus A321neo

With its home country and base at the crossroads with Africa and the Americas, it is no wonder that TAP Air Portugal offers an extensive route network connecting the continents. To reach these far-lying destinations, TAP not only operates one of the youngest fleets in the world, including wide-body A330neo aircraft, but also the long-range version of the A321neo which has additional fuel tanks, increasing range to over 7,400 km (4,600 miles). One such aircraft is CS-TXH, first delivered in 2021 and named for Pedro Texeira, a Portuguese explorer who in the 17th century was the first European to travel up and down the entire length of the Amazon River.
