Sabena McDonnell Douglas MD-11F

Starting from 1998, two MD-11s were operated by Belgium‘s Sabena on long-distance routes. One of this pair, OO-CTC, was the last MD-11 built for carrying passengers. This came to an abrupt end in 2001, despite turnaround efforts by Swissair, also due to the plunge of commercial aviation after the September 11 terrorist attacks which resulted in the demise of the Belgian flag carrier.
