Libyan Air Cargo is the civilian department of the Libyan air force. The original of this AN- 124 model with the registration 5A-DKL was taken on in December 2001 from Ukrainian assets. Next to that, Libyan Air Cargo operates another AN-124 and numerous other paramilitary freighters from Antonov, Ilyushin and Lockheed.
